My logo is a representation of a design approach. As architecture students, we are trained to do more than draw and read plans. We are taught how to approach a design problem. We start with research, a scheme, we set the parameters and then start designing. We make it aesthetically pleasing, paying attention to the smallest details, iterating over and over to make it even better. The design is not final – it is never final – but it can come close. As we learn new things we think of new ways of changing, adding, subtracting. Colors change, perimeters are rewritten. It’s a continuous process, perhaps never ending, but very satisfactory.
